National Prescription Drug Take Back Event

Join the Bend Police Department for the National Prescription Drug Take Back event on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This nationwide event is hosted in an effort to help the community properly dispose of unused prescription drugs, which helps save lives and protects the environment. Flushing prescriptions contaminates the water supply and throwing them in the trash opens opportunity for abuse or illegal activity.

Simply drive through the front parking lot of the Bend Police Department (555 NE 15th Street) to drop off your unused medications right from your car window! As a courtesy to the community, the Bend Police Department will accept injectable medications that have been separated and placed in an appropriate sharp’s container.
