Learn how to take your dialogue – and your book – to the next level.
You can attend this program in person, or take part online.
Dialogue, one of the hardest working components of story writing, wasn’t even in her writers’ toolbox when Ginger Hanson wrote her first novel. Then an agent critiqued her novel and told her it needed “more dialogue.” A 100,000 word novel needed more dialogue? He was right. It did. It sold. Based on his advice, Ginger began a career-long study of how to write dialogue.
This presentation will not only help you write “more dialogue,” but also create more dynamic dialogue with a focus on: Dialogue tags, the ubiquitous “said,” and descriptive beats.
Award-winning author Ginger Hanson turned her dialogue research into two writing skills ebooks. She had five novels published traditionally before taking the independent path and establishing Saderra Publishing. During her writing career, she has written everything from historical romance novels to Federal Aviation Administration instructional manuals. She has also presented writing workshops at national, regional, local, and online writers’ conferences. www.gingerhanson.com.
