Whychus Creek Cleanup, Camp Polk Meadow Preserve

Join the Land Trust for a fall creek cleanup at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve. We’ll be walking the banks of Whychus Creek looking for trash and other items that don’t belong near the water. Help keep our water clean and healthy for fish and wildlife by removing trash from in and around the creek.

Please note: waders will be necessary for this event. If you don’t have waders, please contact the Land Trust and we can see if we can help. A wading or hiking staff is also recommended.

Rating: Work party with moderate physical activity that includes wading in and around a stream and picking up trash on uneven ground.

What to bring: Work gloves (if you have them), snacks/lunch, water, hiking/wading staff (if you have one), waterproof muck boots and/or waders (we will be picking up trash in and near water). Dress for the weather.
