What is on the Horizon for Oregon Election Reforms

Jim Moore, Independent Analyst and Political Outreach Director at Pacific University Tom McCall Center for Civic Engagement will discuss the four election reform measures Oregonians may be voting in in Fall 2024. They include Campaign Finance Reform, Independent Redistricting, Open Primaries and Ranked Choice Voting. We will explore what is different about the Oregon election system, review the initiatives being proposed and what they could mean for future Oregon elections.
The Oregon legislature has sent a Ranked Choice Voting ballot measure to the November 2024 election. The other three initiatives are currently gathering signatures.
