Please join Jamie Lockwood and Liz Fletcher for a workshop on their new book, The Teen’s Guide to Emotions. This will be a great back-to-school workshop to help everyone get ready for new schools, new challenges, and a new school year!

Navigating the tumultuous teenage years can be challenging, but The Teen’s Guide to Emotions is an invaluable resource for embracing this transformative period. This comprehensive workbook equips adolescents with the tools and knowledge to understand and manage their emotions, make wise choices, and cultivate healthy, meaningful relationships. With CBT activities, self-care tips, and coping strategies, this guide empowers teens to navigate big feelings, decision-making, and relationships with confidence. Expertly written by Liz Fletcher and Jamie Lockwood, MFTA, and beautifully illustrated by Iva Mikles, this workbook is the go-to companion for embracing the challenges and opportunities of adolescence.

Jamie Lockwood holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and currently practices as a Marriage and Family Therapist, working with couples, adolescents, and families in the Central Oregon community.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and exploring all that Central Oregon has to offer. She is deeply passionate about improving mental health access and outcomes for young people and is thrilled to be partnering with Liz Fletcher to create this series of wellbeing resources for youth and their caregivers.

Liz Fletcher is a graduate of the University of San Francisco, where she earned a B.A. in Graphic Design. She began her career at Al Gore’s Current TV (now part of Al Jazeera Media Network), working at the intersection of media, creativity, and meaningful storytelling. Most recently, Liz is honored to be partnered with Jamie Lockwood in launching Fearless Ink Publishing, a company dedicated to equipping kids, teens, and their caregivers with the tools and resources to better understand emotions, build confidence, and make empowered decisions.

She lives in Bend, Oregon, with her four children and their giant, goofy Newfoundland, Walter. When she’s not writing or publishing, Liz loves photography, snowboarding, mountain biking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
