Adam spent years playing bass with kirtan pioneer Krishna Das, and later with Bhakti Yoga legend Shyamdas, both of whom nourished his love of sacred sound and the yoga of devotion. He has released three critically-acclaimed records: Shyam Lila debuted on Mantralogy Records in 2014, Wonderville was released in 2017, and Return to the Sacred in 2020. Adam sings & offers workshops, programs & coaching sessions worldwide, enchanting and inspiring listeners with his deep, soulful voice and presence wherever he goes.

Come join us for an enlightening workshop on the ancient wisdom of the Tao te Ching at Unity Spiritual Community of Central Oregon. The Tao-te Ching is a classic of Chinese philosophical literature from around 200 BCE and presents a way of life intended to restore harmony and tranquility to a world racked by widespread disorders. Dive deep into the teachings of the Tao and discover the path to harmony and balance in your life.

Adam has been studying the I Ching since 16, being introduced to it by his father. He’s been steeped in this practice for his entire adult life, over 40 years! It’s a truly priceless gift, and profoundly worth exploring and studying. It takes quite a few moons to become fluent in the practice, and we have the honor and delight to have Adam as our guide through this profound realm…

The last hour of the workshop, Adam will teach us how to “throw coins”, and how to interpret them using the Tao. After the workshop, enjoy a delicious Satvik community dinner with like-minded individuals from 5.30-6.30. Come join us to learn about this ancient philosophy!

Finally, We’ll end with a kirtan concert from 7-9pm.  You can buy tickets for the Tao workshop and Dinner, the kirtan concert, or the full day.  You can also show up and pay cash at the door if that is easier for you…  But let me know if you want dinner so we will have the right amount!
