ICXING PROMOTIONS LLC is bringing a two day outdoor vendors Market Place to Centennial Park in Downtown Redmond. The event will take place the 2nd weekend of the months July August and September 2024 and has already filed the paperwork for permits with the city of Redmond for next summer for the months of June ,July, August and Sept 2025.
ICXING PROMOTIONS has Vendor and Flea Markets for more than 20 years through out Oregon. The last eight years the company has been concentrating on Central and Eastern Oregon with their very popular and successful Flea Markets, usually held twice a year at the fairgrounds in Burns, Madras, Prineville, and until October 2023 at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds. In October when the DCF announced they were rising the rents for the use of the building, a decision was made to seek a new venue.
The new venue turned out to be at Centennial Park, located in Down Town Redmond. The event is called Summertime In The City Central Oregon, will be held during the summer months of June-Sept. The event with feature between 65 to 100 vendors in the park. A vendor can bring their own 10 x 10 pop up tent, or Icxing Promotions can furnish a 10 x 10 pop up tent, and 8 foot x 30 inch tables and chairs if need.
The goal is to bring people from the surrounding areas to downtown to the Vendors MarketPlace for the event, then take a short stroll over to the businesses, located in the Historical Down town area. The event will host many of the location downtown businesses, local businesses from around the area, cottage style home businesses, featuring artisans that make things like jewelry, leather goods, candles, custom hats, custom western wear, specialize candy, fabric creations, upscaled and repurposed home decor, and so much more. Also the market will have a few service providers, like Solar Energy, Bottled Water, Insurance companies, equipment rental, and other businesses offering great products and services, Including Food Trucks, and access to the splash Pad.
