Waldorf School of Bend is excited to announce summer camps for the children ages 7 (rising second graders) to 12.
This year our camps have three themes: farming, circus arts and music. Pick the one your child will like the most. All our camps are aligned with the Waldorf educational philosophy and serve as a strong supplement to our curriculum. This is a great opportunity to try attending our school without a full-year commitment.
Experience the Magic of Waldorf Farm Camp!
This summer, immerse your child in the enriching world of farming with our Waldorf Farm Camp, a unique hands-on experience for children ages 8 to 12. Farming is a cornerstone of the Waldorf curriculum, offering children invaluable lessons in patience, responsibility, and a deep connection to nature.
For the first time, our camp will take place on a vibrant, active farm just 20 minutes from the school. Each day, Ms. Julia or Ms. Casey will guide the children in our school van, Reggie, departing at 8:30 AM and returning by 3:00 PM.
On the farm, your child will enjoy meaningful activities exploring the rhythms of life on the land. These experiences foster a sense of wonder, gratitude, and a lifelong connection to the natural world.
