Please join us for a free storytime with local author and mountain biking enthusiast Lindsey Richter! as she shares her book, Etiquette is a Big Word, about proper mountain biking etiquette.

Join Izzy and Lyle as they head out on an exciting mountain bike adventure in the woods! Find out who crashes. Will they be able to fix a bike snafu on their own? Cheer them on while they face physical challenges and try not to hold your breath when there’s a close call with two spooked horses.

Enjoy the ride with Izzy and Lyle as they zoom through the forest, twist around trees and learn important lessons about trail etiquette along the way. Be sure to keep an eye out for Squirrely the squirrel throughout the book! Does he get in the way, or does he help everyone have a fun and safe adventure?

Izzy loves riding mountain bikes to explore the great outdoors, to stay active, remain healthy and have fun. The confidence she gets from biking helps her learn how to face fears and be strong, so she uses her bike as a tool for personal growth. She really loves introducing new people to the sport and bringing friends together to practice good trail stewardship and build community through bikes.
