Soulfull Bowls Family Kitchen Fundraiser Extravaganza

On May 21st from 3 – 6pm in the Family Kitchen Bend parking lot at 231 NW Idaho Avenue, ticketholders and walk-ups are invited to Soulfull Bowls, a “soup off” and entertainment extravaganza benefitting their community free meal program.
Regular Family Kitchen volunteer soup makers will compete against the pros from J-DUB and Joolz and the attendees are the winners! A celebrity judging panel – made up in part by Mayor Kebler, local mutimedia journalist and “foodie” Tracee Tuesday, and food critic Barb Gonzalez – will declare which is the best soup and a crowd favorite will be determined by which soup runs out first. Winners receive bragging rights until next time!
Ticket holders will receive a take-home bowl made by local ceramicists led by Justin LeBart and all will be able to enjoy live music presented by Canyon Creek Trio, Bobby Lindstrom and Friends, Appaloosa, James Michael Miller, and others.
Tickets for the first 40 bowls are $30 each and include your choice of bowl to take home. The next 110 tickets at $25 each will also include a take-home bowl as provided. Donations are accepted after that for soup up until it runs out. Tickets are available online at www.familykitchen.org .
Family Kitchen is serving over 13,000 meals a month to anyone in need through their Bend and Sisters locations. They also provide meals that partner agencies serve to their clients and guests. All are served no questions, no hassles, no forms to fill out.
