Solar Eclipse Viewing – Old Mill District

Cascade Astronomy & Rocketry Academy will offer free partial eclipse viewing.
MONDAY APRIL 8TH, 10:30 – 12:30
At the Old Mill District – Central Plaza near the bridge
(Sunriver, OR- April 5th, 2024) Robert Grossfeld, Director of Cascade Astronomy & Rocketry Academy, has announced plans to set up telescopes in the Old Mill District during the partial eclipse on Monday, April 8th from 10:30-12:30. The maximum eclipse is about 26% which will occur around 11:25am.
Never look at the Sun without proper equipment. Cascade Astronomy & Rocketry will have special telescopes fitted with special filters for safe viewing of the Sun.
We want to thank the Old Mill District & Oregon Astronomy for allowing this free access to view this natural event.
