The workshop is a series of dynamic activities to practice photography by aligning the heart, mind, and vision. This workshop is or all photography enthusiasts, whether beginners or photography veterans looking to refresh their photographic eye. In this workshop, we will play, reflect, and experience the image, questioning the act of photography in a world where it seems everything has already been captured.

About the Instructor:

Carmina was born in Puebla. As a child, she was influenced by her parents, who were both amateur photographers and gave her her first camera at age 6.

She studied photography in Mexico City, Puebla, and Oaxaca. She has taken specialized courses at the International Center of Photography. She also studied psychology and art therapy, tools that she frequently uses in her artistic and educational projects.

Since 2006, she has developed her own photography education programs with unique offerings for amateur and professional photographers, children, youth, and adults.

Carmina has ventured into documentary photography, portraiture, product photography, social photography of tourist cruises, and contemporary artistic photography. Carmina sees photography as a tool for self-knowledge, healing, and social transformation.
