Please bring a shirt that measures at least 14″ across when laid flat.

Do you have a cute graphic tee that you still love but don’t wear anymore? Let’s recycle it into a cute pillow that’s perfect to take on those camping trips. This workshop will cover basic sewing machine skills and show you how to transform a simple T-shirt into a comfy pillow. Once you know how, you’ll be wanting to make more for you and your loved ones, as these make fun gifts. This is a beginner-friendly sewing machine workshop that will cover basic sewing skills. No previous experience is necessary. Attendees must bring their own t-shirt to use.

Tova Opatrny is the creator behind the YouTube channel Professor Pincushion, making high-quality video tutorials for beginners. Tova’s work has appeared in HuffPost, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan, among others. She’s also written the book Professor Pincushion’s Beginner Guide to Sewing: Garment Making for Nervous Newbies.
