Reconnecting to Workplace Purpose
March 19 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
$58.00

One of the five factors identified in the happiest people is a connection to their purpose. Purpose can be as simple as a statement about “why we get out of bed” each day or as complex as defining why we work and what we hope to achieve at work. We’ll explore what types of service matter to you, identify your gifts, and discover how they can help us more clearly define our “why.” Putting purpose and hope into action each day can sustain you through the hard times at work, and you’ll leave the session recharged and reconnected to those you serve. This program is interactive and entertaining, so expect to laugh, learn, and apply.
Learning Objectives
- By the end of this session, participants will be able to evaluate their natural talents using the six gift categories (Artistic, Investigative, Social, Enterprising, Realistic, and Structured) by determining which gifts they most enjoy, do effortlessly, and cause them to lose track of time, ultimately identifying their top three gifts that can be applied in service to others.
- By the end of this session, participants will be able to analyze their personal service meaning drivers (Personal Growth, Professional Growth, Shared Purpose, Service Acts, Integrated Values, Inspiration, and Honesty) in relation to the ikigai framework, identifying the intersection between what they love, what they’re good at, and what the world needs to clarify their workplace purpose.
- By the end of this session, participants will be able to create a concrete job crafting action plan that synthesizes their identified gifts and service drivers into daily workplace practices, designing specific strategies to realign their current role toward greater meaning, resilience, and protection against burnout.
Cost is $58 per person.
