Reception: Soul of the Land — Quilts by June Jaeger

Join us at the Belknap Exhibit Center at the Bowman Museum for a special reception celebrating Soul of the Land, a quilt and textile art exhibit by renowned Oregon artist June Jaeger. This evening offers an opportunity to experience Jaeger’s beautifully crafted work and celebrate the deep connection between art, nature, and the landscapes of Central Oregon.
A fifth-generation Oregonian, Jaeger was born in Prineville and raised in Redmond. Her work is shaped by the region’s wide-open spaces, wildlife, and a lifelong connection to horses and the outdoors. Working primarily by hand and without the use of computers, she values the authenticity and personal connection of traditional techniques. Her quilts and textile pieces reflect the rhythm, spirit, and soul of the land we call home.
Jaeger’s work has been exhibited regionally, nationally, and internationally, earning numerous awards. She has also spent 45 years teaching textile arts, inspiring generations of students through her creativity and passion.
