Pollinator Week Garden Tour – Franklin’s Corner

As part of this year’s National Pollinator Week celebration, Pollinator Pathway Bend is hosting tours on Sunday, June 25, at two public pollinator gardens: Franklin’s Corner and Al Moody Garden in Bend.

 

During the tours, guides will discuss the importance of native pollinator plants and introduce visitors to the types of plants growing in the gardens. Visitors can also stop by the information table and kids’ coloring station. A new information sign will also be unveiled at Al Moody Garden.

 

Tours take place Sunday, June 25, 2023:

 

Franklin’s Corner Garden Tour with Pollinator Pathway Bend

9 – 10 a.m.

NE 9th and NE Franklin, Bend

Parking on NE Larch. Drive east on NE Franklin to NE 10th Street, turn right and proceed one block to NE Larch, turn right.

 

Al Moody Garden Tour with Pollinator Pathway Bend

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

2225 NE Daggett Lane, Bend

 

Pollinator Pathway Bend is a community-wide effort to create and connect pollinator habitat in the city of Bend (and beyond!). It’s mission is to create and connect pesticide-free habitat for imperiled native pollinators. The all-volunteer group works with partners across Central Oregon to plant gardens, develop educational resources and advocate at local events.
