Join COCC in celebrating Poetry Month all April! Oregon Poet Laureate Ellen Waterston will perform 12-1 pm April 16 in Prineville, 5:30-7:30 pm April 16 in Redmond, and 5:30-7:30 pm April 17 in Bend (with streaming options in Prineville and Madras for this event). Refreshments will be provided. Waterston will also work with local writers in workshops 4-5:30 pm April 16 in Redmond and 4-5:30 pm April 17 in Bend. Local poets are invited to share their work in a Poetry Slam 5-7 pm April 23 in Redmond and 5-7 pm April 24 in Bend. Prizes will be given to poets based on audience judges. Pre-registration for the workshops and Poetry Slam participants is required.
