An ogre named Shrek finds his swamp overrun by fairytale creatures, who have been sent there by the villainous Lord Farquaad. Shrek and his sidekick, a talking donkey, strike a deal with the ruler: in exchange for the removal of the fairytale creatures, they must rescue the feisty Princess Fiona from her tower, and bring her to Lord Farquaad to marry. With quirky characters and humor for all ages, Shrek is a hit for the whole family!
