Oregon Naturalist Program Offers Field Course in Central Oregon

The statewide Oregon Naturalist Program, administered by Oregon State University Extension Service, is offering a 2025 field course in Central Oregon. The series of field-based classes in May and June cover the major ecosystems, wildlife and plants, and natural processes that shape the Central Oregon landscape from the east slopes of the Cascade Mountains to the coniferous forests of the Ochoco Mountains to the High Desert east of Bend. Learn about native wildlife, plants, geology, watersheds, forests, and sagebrush-steppe ecosystems.
