Oklahoma! TLHS Spring Musical

Trinity Lutheran High School Performing Arts is proud to present Oklahoma! on May 5th, 6th, and 7th. The first collaboration of famed partners Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, Oklahoma! set the American musical theatre standard and is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year! Set in Western Indian Territory just after the turn of the 20th Century, the spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the backdrop for the love story between Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a beautiful farm girl. While the show does explore some of the dark themes of early pioneer life, it also features timeless songs and toe-tapping dancing, something that audiences of all ages will enjoy!  Tickets are available at trinitybend.ticketleap.com.  “Oh, what a beautiful morning!
