La Pine Lions Charity Golf Tournament

The La Pine Lions Club is hosting a “Scramble for Sight and Hearing” charity golf tournament on August 14 at Quail Run Golf Club in La Pine. The Lions have helped hundreds receive the gift of vision and over a dozen have received the gift of hearing through greatly discounted and donated services to low-income residents of South Deschutes and North Klamath Counties. Unfortunately, the pandemic kept our foundation from holding its annual tournament in 2020 and 2021 which has greatly impacted our fundraising efforts for our Lions Eyeglass Assistance Program (LEAP) and the ROAR Hearing Aid Assistance program.  This will be a fun event with prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place and Last Place teams and Hole In One!  Entry fee includes green and cart fees, bucket of balls and BBQ lunch. Registration 7:00 am, 8:00 shotgun start.  You don’t want to miss this!
