This is an in-person program. Registration is required. Masks are recommended at all in-person library programs.
In this program you will learn a little bit about why salt is important in flavoring food. You will get the opportunity to see and taste various types of salts, including kosher, pink, grey, sea salt and Wine Salt. You will even get the chance to make your own salt blend to take home.
Ahja King is an educator, entrepreneur, gardener, reader, wife and mother of three amazing women. Growing up near the Salinas Valley in California, her mom taught her how to grow, glean, harvest and preserve as much food as possible.
