Historical Haunts of Downtown Bend walking tours

IT’S TIME TO GET YOUR HAUNT ON OCTOBER 14 & 15– TWO NIGHTS ONLY Stroll through Bend’s historic downtown escorted by a museum guide, stopping at the Deschutes Historical Museum’s favorite locations where the past is brought back to life. Historical Haunts of Downtown Bend has been sharing the history and haunts of Bend’s downtown district since 2010. It’s an eerie hour of history and paranormal mystery woven together into a freakishly fun outing.

We’ve added three additional tours both Friday and Saturday, offering 32 one-hour tours over 2 nights. Each walking tour starts at the museum and ends in Downtown Bend, approximately one-mile of flat walkways. As many of the featured locations are operating businesses tours do not enter any buildings.

This popular fundraiser for the museum does sell out, Space is limited.

While you wait for your tour, wander the halls of the museum exploring Deschutes County’s history. Stop in the research room and view footage of the museum’s ghost. Admission to the museum is free with your tour.
