Enjoy traditional instrumental pieces from Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, Québec, Scandinavia and America. High Strung will introduce the pieces with a bit about the traditions they come from and what makes them unique.

Steve Lundgren comes from a long line of fiddlers, first learning American old-time from his father and grandfather as a kid. He became enthralled by traditional Irish music more than 30 years ago. Since then, he has performed professionally at dances, concerts, pubs, and community events. He also currently plays with the Bend Pops Orchestra.

Sandra Peevers is a lifelong guitar player adding mandolin and ukelele in recent years.  She has also taught music and played concerts and dances through the years. She teaches at Cascade School of Music, for MusicFlow, Sisters Folk Festival Presents and privately.
