Groovy Gala Celebrates 3,600 Dogs Unchained

Fences For Fido’s signature fundraising gala on Sunday, August 18, in West Linn, OR, will celebrate the charity’s 15^th anniversary. This year’s event is dubbed the Groovy Gala, featuring a 1970s theme and a curated disco playlist. KINK-FM’s morning host Mitch Elliott will serve as the emcee.

The event features gourmet plant-based dinner and desserts, a host bar, wine, a signature cocktail, silent auction, and a drawing for one person to have their dog’s photo placed prominently on the hood of the organization’s truck. Organizers call it the dog-lovers’ event of the summer, supporting Fences For Fido’s free solutions for families with dogs living outside on chains. They’ve given free fences, dog houses, and life-saving veterinary care including spay and neuter surgery to 3,600 dogs.  Event tickets are available at FencesForFido.org/GroovyGala.
