GRAVITY RACE SERIES #1

This unsanctioned downhill mountain biking series for passionate local riders looking for fun and community camaraderie is back for its 10th season! The series consists of six races held on a different downhill track at Mt. Bachelor’s Bike Park held on Friday nights, July 12 – August 23 (excluding August 2). Put your skills to the test by competing in all six races or just register for the race day that features your favorite trail. Keep in mind this is a series, so we’ll be crowning ONE overall champion for the fastest combined time in ALL races!
RACE #1 — HANGER
The first race of the 2024 series kicks off on Hanger, an intermediate trail with narrow, single-track and steep banked turns. Accessed via the Cone Run trail from upper Lava Flow this trail is perfect for getting on your Friday night flow and launching into the six-part series.
Registration will be capped at 85 total competitors. Divisions are offered for Adult Men & Women, Youth Boys & Girls, and Groms (12 & Under). Adult races will be broken down into Elite and Open categories based on ability. All competitors will race on the same course, but it’s up to you to decide how extreme or enthusiastic you wish to be.

DAY OF SCHEDULE
3:30 – 4:45 p.m. — Racer Packet Pick-up at Mountain Gateway Building and practice sessions
4:00 – 7:00 p.m. — DJ Ground$core live at Clearing Rock Bar
5:00 – 7:00 p.m. — Racing
REGISTRATION
Adult Elite/Open (16+) — $25
Youth (13-16) — $20
Groms (12 & under) — $15
There will be no day-of registration for this event, all racers must be registered by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday night in order to participate. All registered racers must have a valid Bike Park Pass or Bike Park ticket at the time of competition. Discounted racer tickets for non-passholders are available for purchase during registration.
