In this class, you’ll learn the basics of relief sculpture—wall-mounted works where 3D elements rise from a flat surface—and explore the eerie world of architectural creatures.

While often called gargoyles, the figures we’ll be making are technically grotesques: decorative, monstrous sculptures that add flair (but not drainage!) to buildings. Anastasia will guide you step-by-step as you design and sculpt your own fantastical beast using air-dry clay in this fun, approachable class. No prior experience needed—just bring your imagination and a love for the weird and wonderful!
