The Volunteer Information Night highlights upcoming volunteer opportunities

BEND, ORE – Discover Your Northwest, the non-profit partner of the Deschutes National Forest, is hosting the annual Summer Volunteer Information Night for folks who are interested in summer volunteer opportunities on the Deschutes National Forest. The event will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Deschutes National Forest Supervisor’s Office located at 63095 Deschutes Market Road in Bend.

Opportunities include education programing, delivering naturalist talks, visitor services, and wilderness trailhead hosts. Volunteers are provided with uniforms and training. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one day per week from May through the end of September 2026.
