Forest Clean Up

Public Land Stewards, in partnership with Tread Lightly!, and Discover Your Forest, invites volunteers to participate in a Summer Cleanup Event at public lands south of Bend on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This is the second collaborative cleanup effort aimed at protecting and preserving our cherished public lands. The event will be held at the coordinates 43°58’43.0″N 121°13’27.4″W, with entry through the gate at the end of Horse Butte Road (NF 1815). Volunteers are asked to arrive by 9:15 AM, with the gate opening at 8:45 AM.

What to Bring:

Water, sunscreen, and bug spray

Gloves (if available, otherwise provided)

Close-toed shoes, long pants, and layered clothing

Perks:

Participants will enjoy complimentary coffee, snacks, cold beverages, and lunch provided on-site.

Entry is exclusive to volunteers participating in the cleanup.
