Forest Bathing 101

June 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Learn the origins, science & benefits of a forest bathing practice.

This is an in-person program.

Are you curious about what Forest Bathing is, where it started, and how it is done? Forest bathing, also known as Shinrin Yoku, has become quite the buzzword lately! Yet, many individuals are still not quite sure what exactly this practice is. In this presentation you will learn about the origins and benefits of forest bathing, the science behind the practice, as well as how you can practice on your own and with a guide. We will also discuss ecosystem impacts and how this practice connects us to our planet in intentional and meaningful ways.

You will learn the differences between forest bathing on your own and with a guide. Presenter Missie Wikler “will share resources and invitations with you so that you can experience the benefits of forest bathing first hand!”

Missie Wikler “I am a Certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. I am also the owner and founder of r’oming yoga, a local business offering a variety of outdoor wellness options to guide others in deepening their connections with self, other humans, and the more than human world around! I am passionate about offering intentional wellness practices to our community as a way to cultivate connections and increase access to the healing power of nature and the healing power we carry within ourselves!” Learn more at https://www.romingyogabend.com/
