Flight Attendants: Revolutionizing a Workplace
November 15, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Learn how the profession changed the aviation workplace and beyond.
The flight attendant profession has changed dramatically from the days of “Sky Girls” to what it is today. During those years the women and men who chose this career have made workplace changes, many of them through the collective power of the Association of Flight Attendants, some through the courts, others by advocating Congress and still more through the courage of individuals to fight what they saw as an injustice. Those changes affected not only aviation, but many other workplaces as well. Come learn about our remarkable history and its impact on what we know today as commercial aviation.
