First Interstate Bank Workshop at Heartwarmers – September 10th

Heartwarmers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to bringing comfort to those facing serious life challenges. For the past 12 years, our volunteers have lovingly assembled hats, scarves, and blankets in workshops across Bend, Redmond, and Sisters. These heartwarming gifts are then shared through more than 60 partnering nonprofits throughout Central Oregon.

Over the past few years, employees from First Interstate Bank have joined Heartwarmers workshops as part of their community giving program. Last year, their team came together with joyful spirit and caring hands to assemble 24 fleece blankets for adults and children in need.

On Wednesday, September 10th, employees from First Interstate Bank will once again be volunteering in our workshop at 587 Greenwood Ave. in Bend. This event represents a new way for us to engage volunteers and create partners who share in our mission of caring for those “in transition” in our community.

The event is part of First Interstate’s Volunteer Day, which began in 2018 and gives employees the chance to use company time to volunteer for causes selected by their local markets. We are honored to be included in this annual event.

We are deeply grateful to First Interstate Bank for their generosity and community spirit, and we look forward to many more collaborations that remind us—we’re stronger when we give together. ❤️
