Establishing Your Writing Practice

July 19 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

A course for beginning writers to help them create and maintain a writing practice.

This is an online program. Registration is required. Registered participants will receive the Zoom link to join the program.

This course will help writers create a writing practice which will allow them to write anything. The goal of our time together is not to worry about form, grammar, plot, or characters. Instead, we will establish a writing routine and discuss how to fit our writing goals into that framework. Writers will leave with a clear plan of how to nourish their creativity and finish their projects.

Grace Bialecki is a performance poet, novelist, and workshop facilitator who teaches for The Bridge and Hugo House. Her work has appeared in various publications including CatapultBarrelhouse, and Epiphany Magazine where she was a monthly columnist. She has performed her poetry at the KGB Bar, Salmagundi Club, and been a featured poet at Paris Lit Up. Grace is the co-founder of the storytelling series Thirst, and the author of the novel Purple Gold. To learn more, visit Grace’s website: https://www.graciebialecki.com/
