Easter Weekend at Jefferson County Event Complex

The Jefferson County Event Complex is excited to host a fun‑filled Easter weekend for families on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 in Madras, Oregon. The two‑day celebration will feature activities from the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon, Madras Saddle & Gaming Club, and the Jefferson County Library, along with food trucks, local vendors, and the beloved Madras Easter Egg Hunt.

Saturday, April 4
Festivities kick off at 9:00 a.m. with the Madras Saddle & Gaming Club Barrel Race & Play Day, held inside the Corwin Arena.

Also beginning at 9:00 a.m., families can enjoy hands‑on activities with the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon and Jefferson County Library Story Time and Arts & Crafts inside the Maccie Conroy and Keeney Buildings (Buildings #4 & #5).

Sunday, April 5
Day two begins again at 9:00 a.m. with more Children’s Museum and library activities in the Maccie Conroy and Keeney Buildings.

At 11:00 a.m., children and families are invited to join the Madras Easter Egg Hunt.

Food trucks and a variety of vendors will be on-site throughout the weekend, offering tasty treats and local goods.

These events are free to attend and open to the public. Families of all ages are welcome to join in the celebration.
