Dementia Demystified

Take a deep dive into behaviors and symptoms of dementia.

This seminar will provide participants with an understanding of dementia, focusing on its behavioral and cognitive symptoms. The seminar will delve into how dementia affects the brain, leading to symptoms like memory loss and agitation, and will offer strategies for recognizing and managing these challenges.

Debbi McCune is a dedicated Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, bringing five years of experience to her role. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional, Debbi co-founded the Living Well With Dementia Sisters and has a personal connection to her work as a Care Partner to her husband, who was diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer’s in 2016.
