Deaf Panel – Witnessing Diverse Experiences

What do Deaf people want the community to know?

This is an in-person program. Masks are optional at all in-person library events.

Come and learn from a panel of Deaf adults sharing about their experiences with language, culture and what they want members of their community to know. Interpretation will be provided in ASL and Spanish.

Hands and Voices is a national parent-lead peer support nonprofit organization helping to empower, educate and build community for parents of children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Local parent guide Stephanie Lucas will host the event and invites parents of children with hearing loss, as well as members of the community to join. www.handsandvoicesor.org
