Central Oregon Mushroom Club presents “From Spores to Spectrum” with Julie Beeler

Join us for our first meeting of 2026, featuring a webinar with the talented Julie Beeler, an artist, educator and author of the stunning Mushroom Color Atlas as well as the amazing free online guide to mushrooms of color. Her visually rich presentation will be shown on screen through a webinar event from NAMA, North American Mycological Society, an organization of which our club is a proud affiliate.

Titled “From Spores to Spectrum,” Julie’s talk is full of the vibrant colors created by fungi as well as the specific mushrooms that contain them. Since she lives in the PNW, she will be sharing many species familiar to those of us who forage here.
