Camp Courage is a free 3.5-day summer camp that provides 5-12 year olds with a safe and fun place to express, share and explore their feelings and issues related to the death of a loved one. Camp Courage helps facilitate this by offering smaller peer groups, the opportunity to create personal artwork aimed at the child’s expression of their grief and allow them the opportunity to celebrate and memorialize the loved one who has died. Every child will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor and indoor games and activities including music and yoga. We have therapy dogs everyday, playful activities and this valuable opportunity for kids to know there are other kids who live with grief, and they are not alone.
