Central Oregon Community College and the Afrocentric Program are having a series of outstanding events for Black History Month. The first event is the movie, “Origin,” directed by Ava Duvlnay and based on the book by Isabella Wilkerson, “Caste.” The second event will be an Afrobeat Dance Class hosted by instructor Fode Sylla. Finally, we will have the first-ever Black History Dinner Celebration in Central Oregon.
