September 21 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free
Join Amy Sanchez for a bird walk at Paulina Creek Preserve.

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Amy Sanchez for a bird walk at Paulina Creek Preserve. With ponderosa and lodgepole pine forests, wet and dry meadows, and 3.7 miles of Paulina Creek, the Preserve provides habitat for a wide range of wildlife, making it a fantastic spot for bird watching. Explore the Preserve and watch for birds while you learn more about the Land Trust’s vision for its future. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.

Hike Rating: This is an easy 2-3 mile hike on dirt and gravel roads.

Route: This hike will start at the Paulina Creek Preserve parking area and follow dirt and gravel roads. Terrain will be uneven at times.

Elevation gain/loss: There is very little elevation gain/loss on this hike.

What to Bring: Binoculars (if you have them), snacks, water, closed toe shoes. Dress for the weather.

Accessibility: The Land Trust is working to make our Walks + Hikes as accessible as possible. Please email us at event@deschuteslandtrust.org at least one week in advance if there is something we can do or provide to support you in participating in this outing to the fullest and we will accommodate as possible.
