Bend Community Contra Dance

Join us for a lively evening of traditional American dance featuring the fantastic old-time fiddle tunes of our band ‘Trees are for Hugging’ and the incredible calling of Rich Goss from Portland! New to contra? it’s similar to square dancing. Arrive a little before 7:00 PM ready for some instruction. Experienced dancers are encouraged to arrive by 7:00 PM to help newcomers. Family friendly (the dance hall is alcohol, drug, and smoke-free.) Wear comfortable clothes & soft-soled, non-marking shoes are recommended. No experience is necessary – all are welcome! Bring a friend or two and share the fun – See you on the dance floor!
