June 8, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us to celebrate 50 years of Oregon’s revolutionary land use planning system – with food, music, art, local vendors, and more!

In 1973, Oregon voters passed Senate Bill 100, creating our revolutionary land use planning system. For 50 years, it has defined our landscapes and communities bringing us an Abundant Oregon.

By preserving farmland and natural resources, directing urban growth, and promoting livable communities that protect surrounding wildlife and open spaces, Oregon’s land use planning system has created a legacy world celebrating. Join us as we reflect on 50 years gone by and discover how our land use planning system empowers us to face the current challenges of our time – from addressing the climate crisis to wildfire safety, water security, wildlife habitat, and more.

Featuring special guest speaker Robert Liberty, an expert in land use planning and sustainability, and Aimee Okotie-Oyekan, an interdisciplinary environmentalist and land use planner. Enjoy live music from Joel Chadd and his band, goods and bites from regional producers, local makers, artists, and the opportunity to connect with the diverse community of folks who benefit directly from Oregon’s unique approach to land use.

Everyone is welcome – just be sure to register.
