The Impact Conference is our annual half-day event focusing on the local economic outlook and diving deep into the hospitality, real estate, and, new for 2022, retail industries.
This year’s Impact Conference drills down into an evolving global market that has experienced unprecedented fluctuations as we continue to navigate life post-pandemic.
The goal of this event is to bring innovative knowledge and resources to the Central Oregon region to encourage our community’s economic growth and endurance. You will leave more informed about how challenges both across the world and locally can be effectively addressed to position your businesses in a strategic and intentional way.
The real estate, hospitality and retail industries are recognized by The Bend Chamber as cornerstones of the greater regional economy. By pairing local and national level experts in economics and each industry respectively, this conference is a new opportunity for local professionals that they have not previously had exposure to.
The Economic Session will kick-off the conference with breakfast and introductions from Bend Chamber CEO, Katy Brooks and an economic overview by State Economist for Business Oregon, Damon Runberg. We will then transition to Keynote Andrew Busch—a futurist, economist and consultant who was the first ever Chief Market Intelligence Officer for the US government. After our Economic session, you will have your choice of attending one of the following breakout sessions: Real Estate, Hospitality, or Retail.
