Rick Bartow: Things You Know but Cannot Explain

Bartow (1946-2016) was one of Oregon's most celebrated Indigenous artists. His work gained national recognition during his lifetime; his monumental cedar carvings "We Were Always Here" went on permanent display in 2012 outside the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian overlooking the National Mall. On view through April 7.

Cost: Museum admission: $9-$15; children under 5 free
