RISE Tactical Challenge
Central Oregon is about to experience something that encompasses what we love about the area! Rise Challenge Events is proud to announce the Rise Tactical Challenge on November 17, 2019. What is the Rise Tactical Challenge? It is a two-mile obstacle course race with a shooting challenge. What is more Central Oregon then an event that combines the outdoors with both physical activity and shooting. On top of that, it benefits Central Oregon Veterans Ranch which supports the men and women who proudly risked everything for our country and need a little help.
So, what is the Rise Tactical Challenge, and can I do it? All events are designed, created, and implemented by Rise Challenge Events for any physical ability. It is about improving and believing in yourself; empowering not winning. What is an obstacle race you ask? It is not a 5K race. It is different. It is a challenge of two miles where you will need to become good friends with a sandbag, as you will need to drag, carry, and most importantly finally toss it out of the way. There will be crawling, climbing a wall, a memory test that you will need to complete under pressure, and other surprises. There is also a shooting event to the contest (which can be skipped and done by your teammate). All obstacles are designed to test how you would handle yourself in a situation where you had to protect both your family and yourself. You can compete as an individual or find a partner and push each other.
There are training sessions available for both the obstacle course and shooting event.
