Crook County Library Online Program: April Henry Author Visit
New York Times-bestselling author April Henry knows how to kill someone in two-dozen different ways and has through her 24+ mysteries and thrillers for teens and adults. Now she’s visiting Prineville through virtual visits, to inspire a new generation of writers and tale-tellers.
Henry, the author of The Body in the Woods, The Lonely Dead, and her newest novel, The Girl in the White Van, will be speaking at a virtual author event, hosted Crook County Library, on November 10, 2020 from 6:30pm-7:30pm. This virtual library program will be held via WebEx and is free and open to the public. The link to this program can be found on the library calendar of events at www.crooklib.org or the Crook County Library Facebook page at www.facebook.com/crookcountylibrary.
April Henry will also be visiting Crook County Schools through virtual classroom visits on November 9th and 10th. Funding for the program was supported by a grant from the Crook County Cultural Coalition, with funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust to support Oregon’s arts, heritage, and humanities. Additional funding was provided by the Friends of Crook County Library, the Crook County School District, and donations.
