Malheur Reflections, Two Years Later

Wednesday, February 21, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

On January 2, 2016, armed protestors seized the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters in Harney County, Oregon. The occupation lasted 41 days during which time considerable damage occurred. Join Chad Karges, project leader for the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge; Gary Marshall, a third generation rancher and chairman of the High Desert Partnership; and Charlotte Rodrique, a member of the Burns Paiute Tribe, for a thoughtful discussion of the Malheur occupation, restoration and public lands.
