Making Genealogy Friends: Getting to Know You
Is your family from east of the Mississippi or west of the Mississippi? While we are one nation, the mighty Mississippi is a natural dividing line.
On October 16, Susan Agli will divide everyone at the Bend Genealogical Society into two groups and we’ll get to know each other through our ancestors. Come and join the fun learning about everyone’s families. It’s highly likely you’ll make new friends, who are researching their family history in the same area(s) where your family lived.
It’s time to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and lively conversation. See you on October 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Williamson Hall.
The DNA Interest Group begins when the program meeting ends at 11:45 to Noon. If you are interested in DNA for Genealogy, you are welcome to stay for the interest group discussion. Bring a brown bag lunch, if desired.
The Bend Genealogical Society (BGS) is for anyone interested in their family history, beginners & experienced researchers alike. We want to help you.
