Hear the story of Florence Nightingale, a woman who dared to rebel and left a legacy.

Jane McEldowney, registered nurse and world traveler, entertains and educates as she shares, in character, the story of Florence Nightingale.

During the presentation McEldowney explores how concepts pioneered by Miss Nightingale remain current for students, health care providers, health maintenance organizations, mathematicians, architects, feminists, educators, military and religious groups.

Jane McEldowney is a graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University where she earned her B.S., R.N., N.C.S.N. During her nursing career she has lived in seven countries and nursed in public health clinics, embassies, hospitals, schools and camps. Active in church, family life, Girl Scouts USA, American Red Cross, nature and professional nursing organizations she is a life member of The Florence Nightingale Museum, London.
