Auditions for a staged concert production of the TONY Award winning musical "1776" with an all female cast of twenty-five...singers/actors accompanied by a full orchestra, will be held at Pinckney Center for the Performing Arts, located at Central Oregon Community College (COCC) in Bend, Oregon from 7-10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21 & Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Call backs will be on Tuesday, February 28 & Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 7-10 p.m. at the same location. The production will be presented this summer as a benefit for The Tower Theatre Foundation.
All roles are open to women teen aged through adult. Please bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 32-bars of a song of your choice with accompaniment. A pianist will be provided. Scenes from the script will also be provided at the auditions for readings. All roles require singers who are able to harmonize.
